**Sage and Testament Terms of Service**
**Effective Date: March 28, 2025**
Welcome to Sage and Testament! By using our website, shopping at our boutique, or renting our tea lounge, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. General Conditions
- These Terms of Service apply to all customers, whether shopping online, in-store, or renting the tea lounge.
- Sage and Testament reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, subject to applicable law.
2. Boutique Shopping
Online and In-Store Purchases
- By making a purchase at Sage and Testament, either online or in-store, you agree to our “Return & Shipping Policy” and “Payment Terms”.
- All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities and refuse service for any order.
Product Information
- We strive to provide accurate descriptions and pricing for all products on our website and in-store. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies. If a pricing error is discovered, we will notify you and provide an option to proceed with the corrected price or cancel your order.
Payments
- We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and other secure payment methods via our online platform.
- All transactions are processed securely using encrypted payment gateways.
Returns & Exchanges
- Please refer to our “Return & Exchange Policy”for more details on how returns, exchanges, and store credits are handled.
Gift Cards
- Sage and Testament gift cards are valid for in-store and online purchases only. They cannot be redeemed for cash, and we are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
3. Tea Lounge - Space Rental
Tea Lounge Use and Reservation
- The tea lounge is available for rent for private events, meetings, or gatherings, subject to availability.
- Booking a Rental: To book the tea lounge, customers must submit a reservation request either online or in person. A valid credit card is required to secure the booking.
- Rental Period: All rentals are for the agreed-upon time frame. Any extension of the rental period will incur additional charges.
Cancellations & No-Show Policy
- A $25 cancellation fee will apply for any reservation canceled less than 48 hours prior to the event. Please contact us at 936-445-9983 or support@sageandtestament.com for cancellations or rescheduling.
- No-show fee of $75 will apply for missed reservations without prior notice.
Tea Lounge Conduct
- The tea lounge is a shared space with other businesses. Please be mindful of other tenants and customers. We expect all guests to conduct themselves with courtesy and respect for others.
- Customers are prohibited from bringing outside food and beverages unless agreed upon in advance.
Food and Beverage
- When renting the tea lounge, a minimum of 2 flavored tea beverages will be provided by Sage and Testament unless otherwise agreed. Special requests for dietary restrictions or specific menu items must be made at least 7 days in advance.
- You are responsible for providing food for your event.
Damage to Property
- Customers are responsible for any damage to the tea lounge or any equipment, furniture, or other property during the rental period. You will be charged for any necessary repairs or replacements.
Health & Safety Protocols
- The tea lounge adheres to health and safety protocols, including cleaning and sanitization standards, and any relevant local or state guidelines. Guests must comply with all posted health and safety instructions, including any mask or distancing requirements.
Liability
- Sage and Testament is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the use of the tea lounge.
- Guests must ensure they are fully insured naming Sage and Testament LLC as additional insured for any unforeseen risks related to their event, including accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Alcoholic Beverages
- Beer and wine are the only alcoholic beverages that may be consumed in the tea lounge if specifically agreed upon in advance, and in compliance with all local and state laws. You must provide proof of age for anyone consuming alcohol.
Event Staffing and Services
- Additional staff for service, cleaning, or other needs can be requested for an additional fee.
- Catering services and additional amenities (e.g., decorations, music, etc.) can be arranged in advance for an additional charge. Please discuss these options with us prior to the event.
Decorations and Setup
- Guests are welcome to bring decorations for their event; however, no decorations may be affixed to or hung from any wall, ceiling, windows, or furniture in the tea lounge. All decorations must stand freely from the floor or be placed on tabletops without the use of any glue, tape, nails, or other adhesives.
- Any damage caused by decorations or improper setup will result in additional fees for repairs or cleaning.
Common Areas and Shared Spaces
- The common area near the boutique suite is available for use as a food station, bar setup, or photo booth area during your event.
- The kitchenette, including the freezer and fridge, is available for storage space only. Please note that this kitchenette is shared with other tenants in the building.
- There is a restroom available for use, but it is also shared with other tenants.
- These common areas are not exclusive to your event and are made available to you at our courtesy. Your use of these areas must be done in a respectful manner and within the boundaries of your rental agreement.
Event Location and Time Limitations
- All events must be held within the tea lounge. Guests are not permitted to mingle or congregate in the common areas or break room during the event.
- You may only occupy the tea lounge during your allotted time slot . If your event exceeds the scheduled time, an additional $25 per 15-minute increment will be charged.
- Extra time may be booked at the regular rental rate if available. Please confirm availability in advance to ensure you can extend your rental time.
Cleanup and Items Left Behind
- All trash must be placed in the provided trash bags and emptied into the dumpster located outside at the front left side of the building.
- Any items left behind after the event will be disposed of and a $100 cleaning fee will be charged for any trash or items that are left for our disposal.
- It is the responsibility of the event organizer to ensure that all personal items and decorations are removed by the end of the event.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Policy
- Orders placed online will be processed and shipped within 4 to 6 business days. Shipping is available only within the United States.
- All orders are shipped via USPS or UPS and are uninsured. Sage and Testament is not responsible for any items lost or stolen during transit.
- Orders placed after 3 p.m. will be shipped the next business day. We do not ship on weekends or holidays.
In-Store Pickup
- For in-store pickup, please select "No Shipping" at checkout. You will not be charged for shipping and can arrange a pickup time at our location:

5. Privacy and Data Protection
- We are committed to protecting your privacy. By using our services, you consent to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
- We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and payment details. This information is necessary for processing orders, reservations, and providing customer support.
6. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sage and Testament is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, our boutique, or the tea lounge rental services.
- Sage and Testament is not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or damaged during the shipping process or while at the tea lounge.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state of Texas.
- Any disputes arising from the use of our website, boutique, or tea lounge services will be resolved through binding arbitration or mediation, as applicable.
